Greene ssp. imbricata W end of the SAN GABRIEL MTNS: Santa Clara Road (U.S.F.S.) between Wilson Canyon Saddle and May Canyon Saddle; N slope of the 3834-foot peak NW of May Canyon Saddle. San Fernando 7.5' USGS quadrangle; R15W T3N, W/2 NE/4 NE/4 SE/4 section 10' elev.ca 3600-3640 ft. Coarse granitic colluvium and granite outcrops on steep northerly face. Localized herbaceous perennial. Corolla white with incurved lobes. Leaves with ca 7 major lobes. Associated with Keckiella cordifolia, K. ternata ternata, Eriodictyon crassifolium, Ceanothus oliganthus, Quercus chrysolepis, Rhamnus ilicifolia, Gcdium angustifolium, Eriophyllum confertiflorum, Eriogonum elongatum, etc. Tim Ross 7315 Orlando Mistretta 26 May 1993 03208912
