Plant up to 5 dm, high; flowers whitish turn-
ing brown with age. In rocky soil with Gilia ag-
gregata, Aquilegia coerulea, Erigonum, Delphinium
nelsonii, etc. On south facing slope in an open area in the aspen grove above Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory, Gothic, alt. ca. 9800 ft.
