Area. San Mateo Canyon, southeast of Indian Potrero at base of
eastern-most segment of Clark Trail, T8S R6W, SE1/4 SE1/4
sec. 1. Elev. 700'. Riparian woodland withPlatanus racemosa,
SaJix, Quercus agrifolia, and Baccharis salicifolia.
Annual, flowers light purple. Occasional on drier benches and
base of slopes burned in 1989 fire.
