Common, tap-rooted herb, scattered in 1st year alfalfa field
(Medicago sativa) but entirely absent in adjacent 2-year old
alfalfa field with much denser coverage. With other annual weeds
such as Chenopodium album. Flowers light yellow. Fruit green,
held erect.
