Locally common annual on grassy, westerly slope in
dappled Quercus agrifolia shade. Associated with Rhus
ovata, Marah macrocarpus, Gilia capitata abrotanifoha,
Nemophila menziesii, and Eriogonum elongatum.
Flowers medium blue; the anthers either included or
exserted from the throat ± 3-4mm.
