On overgrazed bosque in sandy soil, with
Prosopis velutina, Acacia greggii, Rumex
hymenosepalus, Opuntia engelmannii, Amsinc-
kia, Bromus rubens, Lupinus sparsiflorus,
Oenothera deltoidea, Fraxinus, Populus fre-
montii, Lycium, Hymenoclea monogyra, Salix
gooddingii, Cynodon dactylon. Occasional
weak-stemmed annual, flowers blue.
