9200’. Soil thin, gravelly, derived from red-
dish volcanics. Plants rare and local among
rocks on ridge, near melting snowbanks. With
Draba apiculata, Poa secunda, Oxytropis lagopus
FIs magenta; pods deep reddish brown.
