CUSTER CO: BLM land, mountains between East Fk Salmon River and Thousand Springs Valley. Ridge separating Lake Creek from Mosquito and Sage creeks, ca 2 miles N of Jerry Peak, elevation 9200’. Soil thin, gravelly, derived from red- dish volcanics. Plants rare and local among rocks on ridge, near melting snowbanks. With Draba apiculata, Poa secunda, Oxytropis lagopus FIs magenta; pods deep reddish brown. Collected by: Douglass Henderson 6628 23 JUN 83 and Anita Cholewa 03188068
