Open marshy area with Ribes americanum, Cornus
amomum, Onoclea sensibilis, Spiraea alba, Phalaris
arundinacea, Scirpus fluviatilis, at edge of woods of Tilia
americana, Acer saccharinum.
Clump of many stems from knocked over larger stem, 3 m.
tall. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw,
RSAw, the wood specimen from stem 3 cm. in diameter, 6-
7 years old.
