us 25(0 U.S.A. Comaceae Cornus amomum Mill, det. M. Nee, 2016 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., 7 km (by air) NE of center of Boscobel, S of DNR parking area along Hwy. 60 43°H’23”N, 90°39’51”W. alt. 203 m. T 8 N; R 2 W; NWWNW'Vi sect. 7. At entrance to floodplain forest, with Acer saccharinum, Populus deltoides, Salix exigua, Ribes americanum, Sambucus canadensis, Ilex verticillata. Shrub, the stems to 2.5 m. tall, forming a clump with ca. 25 stems of various sizes in a tight clump, the wood specimen from stem 2.6 cm. in diameter, ca. 7 years old, nearly the largest size before the stems senesce and are replaced by younger ones. Voucher for wood specimen, Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw. The year-old twigs coppery and green, those of this year green. Fruit green. Coll.: M. Nee 63027 4 July 2016 Missouri Botanical Garden (MO) 03198132
