us W5 U.S.A. Rosaceae Rubus parviflorus Nutt, det. M. Nee, 2016 WISCONSIN, Price Co., 20 km. ENE of Park Falls, Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Along Forest Road 642, 1 km. NE of junction with Hwy. 182. 45°57’41”N, 90°H’29”W. alt. 488 m. T 40 N; R 2 E; ffWMNEK sect. 11. Forest of Pinus resinosa and some Acer rubrum, on gentle slopes, with Corylus cornuta, Cornus alternifolia, Rubus parviflorus in the understory. Erect shrublets, usually unbranched, or with 1-3 branches, stems to 0.5 cm. in diameter; pith light tan, occupying most of the stem. Voucher for wood specimens in Kw, Lw, MADw, RSAw.
