Along hiking/biking trail along old railroad spur from Lone
Rock to Richland Center, just SE of bridge over Pine River.
Low embankment through extensive marsh and floodplain
forest in floodplain of Pine River.
Shrub 2.5 m. tall, the stems to 2.2 cm. in diameter, ca. 9
years old. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw,
MADw. Current year’s twigs yellow-green, the 2-year and
older twigs reddish. Fruit green.
