WISCONSIN, Sauk Co., E of Lone Rook, Bakken’s Pond, a
large marshy area in floodplain of Wisconsin River, with
slightly higher dry sandy terrace with Quercus velittina
forest and prairie.
43°10’44”N, 90°08’22”W. alt 212 m.
T 8 N; R 3 E; SE^SEVi sect. 9.
Common among dolomite boulders lining edge of dyke and
marsh. Shrub with several stems in clump, 1.2 m. tall, 1.2
cm. hi diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw.
Inflorescences hanging; flowers pale yellow.
