At edge of crop field and woods with Jmiperus virginiana,
Juglans cinerea, Morns alba, somewhat sandy gently SW-
facing slope.
Tree 9 m. tall, 15 cm. in diameter; heartwood deep red-
brown; freshly cut wood with strong and unpleasant odor of
horse urine. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Fruit
yellow-green, abundant.
