Rankly brushy area With Heracleum lanatum, Corylus
americana, Ulmus americana, Acer negundo, Prunus
americana, Vitis riparia, Humulus lupulus, Quercus
macrocarpa and Lonicera x bella complex.
Shrub 3 m. tall, with few stems in a clump, to 3 cm. in
diameter, ± the maximum size for the species here, then
replaced by fast-growing shoots with bipinnate leaves.Voucher
for wood specimen, MADw. Inflorescence flat-topped; flowers
white. Some inflorescences with flowers fallen and very
immature green fruit; only a few inflorescences still in bud.
