Deal* Mr. MacKeeverj
M	In the summer of 1904 I
collected Lesquerella ludoviciana (Nutt.) Wats,
in western Illinois, the first known siation
east of the sand-hills of Nebraska. I understanc
that it has since been collected also in Minne-
sota.
I was back at the same station ;ast summer j
and found the' plant still growing in exactly
the same spot where I found it 58 yea!rs before, j
It was far past bjoom (due about May 1) and evenj
the inflorescences were shattered* Nevertheless!
I pulled up a few plants, and suggest that you
have them mounted for the herbarium, as your
only record of a station which may be destroyed
