adjacent lawn, unshaded. The spring annuals reaching the
end of their life cycle, with Descurainia pinnata, Draba
nemorosa, Arenaria serpyllifolia, Scleranthus annuus,
Androsace occidentalis, Vernica arvensis, V. verna.
Abundant. Bracts scarious; stamens 5; styles 5.
