Weedy, upland tallgrass prairie, with scattered Madura
pomifera and Ulmus rubra, and mesic Quercus muhlenbergii
forest along edge of prairie and on slopes above Wakarusa
River floodplain. Frequent surfacing limestone.
Occasional. Petals yellow.
