Heller, collector July 20, 1916 Metcalf's ranch, northeast base of Mt. Eddy in openings in the forest, elevation 3900 feet. The prevalent tree is Douglas fir with some white fir and sugar pine, after cutting the original stand of Jeffrey pine. The common undershrubs are ceanothus and Uva-ursi in the dry places with Salix and Corylus in low ground. 03182528
