USGS Quadrangle; T7N R17W. Elev. ca 5525-5605 feet.
Local vegetation a mosaic of oak woodland, oak-
dominated chaparral, and open grasslands rich in annual
and perennial herbaceous taxa.
Locally common annual, scattered in dappled shade
of oak woodland and extending into adjacent grassland.
Lower leaves entire to 5 to 9-lobed; corolla broadly
campanulate with purple or bluish-purple limb & white
throat; seeds 1.6 mm, brown, hexagonally pitted.
