Along abandoned railroad grade (and powerline
right-of-way), south side of East Herrin Road. Eastern
corporate limits of Herrin. Elevation 400 feet. Herrin
7.5 min. quadrangle. Level areas on former railroad bed
in sand, gravel, old cinders.
With Diodia teres, Leucospora multifida, Eragrostis
minor, Juncus tenuis, Valerianella radiata. Common
dwarf annual herb, erect, flowers white.
