Along edge of packed gravel "fines" composing roadbed, in semishade of junky young woodland (Elaeagnus umbellata, Fraxinus pennsylvanica, Lonicera Xbella, Prunus serotina, Quercus spp.) completely overgrowing right-of-way. Assoc.: Bromus tectorum, Erysimum cheiranthoides, and Plantago rugelii, little else. Forming a linear colony 22 yds. long X 1 yd. wide, in transition zone of low weedy vegetation lying between path and woodland. 100 yds. N of Ware Rd. along former C.M.St.P. & P.
