SW of Wauzeka, near Adiantum Woods State Natural Area, ridgetop near N- facing Wisconsin River bluff. 43°03’39”N, 90°54’00”W. alt. 347 m. T 7 N; R 4 W; NWViNWVi'sect. 30. Brushy old ridgetop field, somewhat prairie-like, becoming overgrown with Rhus glabra, rare Elaeagnus umbellata, Cornus racemosa. A few shrubs, much-branched, to 2.5 m. tall.
