BOLIVIA Onagraceae Ludwigiaperuviana (L.) H. Hara det. M. Nee, 2014 Depto. Santa CRUZ, Prov. Andrés Ibànez, Jardin Botanico de Santa Cruz, 12 km. E of plaza central of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, on highway to Cotoca. 17°45’59”S, 63°04’12”W. alt. 375 m. In or at edge of the Pozo, a deep borrow pit for road construction, now with a shallow lake in the bottom and brushy and disturbed vegetation on the steep banks. Becoming branched and woody at base, to 2 m. tall, with adventitious roots. In full flower (ca. 11:00 A.M.), but petals delicate and completely pasted to the newspaper when dried.
