    Shrub to 2.5 m tall; fls with pale yellow base to tubular hyp, pale violet-purple in mid-upper part and white limb. Petals same color as limb of hyp (nearly white to very pale lavender); style and stamens included to slightly excluded. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

occasional Pinus longaeva, Antennaria, Cryptantha cinerea,
Euphorbia brachycera, Linanthastrum nuttallii ssp. nuttallii var.
pubesccens, Linum perenne, Erysimum asperum, Acer glabrum
var. diffusum.
