Somewhat scandent shrub with finely pubescent branches. Leaves opposite, oval-ovate,
i up to about 8 cm. long and 5 cm. wide, pinnately veined, entire, acute, petioles about 5 mm.
J long, pubescent. Flowers fragrant, in few-flowered, axillary clusters, corolla white, tubu-
I lar, about 15 mm. long.
Introduced ornamental (9942). Sometimes grown as a hedge. English
name, Arabian jasmine.
