Coastal Zone* ca. 5 km. S.E. of Marâu near junction with road to Campinho. Mixed restinga vegetation and high forest on sand with open wet areas. Alt. 0-50 m. 38°59'W., 14°08'S. G9. Small treelet to 1.5 m. Leaves coriaceous rather dark green above, grey green beneath with rusty veins. Young inflorescence axis with rusty indumentum.
