265. Polygonum hydropiperoides Mich.
Yosemite Valley, Mariposa County, in the Transition Zone, at
an altitude of 1210 m.
Stems decumbent, never ereet, 1 to 3 feet long, rooting at the
lower nodes. Buds slightly tinged with pink; flower pure white.
Filaments occasionally pink, at least above.
Collected by H. P. Chandler (no. 1142), August 6, 1912.
