BASTROP CO.: rare, a few plants in sparsely vegetated areas in burned-over loblolly pine - post oak forest on gentle slope underlain by Eocene sands of the Reklaw Formation, on sandy soils mapped as Axtell-Tabor complex, ca. 0.5 airmiles E of Harmon Road from a point ca. 0.6 roadmiles N of jet. St. Rt. 71, at N30°05.878\ W097°14.429\ Bastrop State Park. Smithville Quadrangle. Elev. 510-520 ft. Area burned during Bastrop Complex Wildfire of September 2011. Associates included Centrosema virginianum, Dichanthelium spp., Panicum brachyanthum, Polypremum procumbens, Rhynchospora harveyi. W. R.
