Dulce: Simpson forest plantation (UTM: 16P - 0295475 E,
1725107 N), 5-10 kilometers SE of Lake Izabal and town of Rio
Dulce, E side of the highway N of the village of Buenos Aires
(Approx. 15° 36'08"N, 88° 55’20"W). Alt.: 20-80m/66-262ft.
Native forest, hardwood timber plantations (Gmelina), pasture, and
river and stream margins.
50-75 m from Rio Juan Vicente in fence line along dirt road
through pastures. 3 m arborescent shrub; fls. light violet with
yellow anthers.
