Puntarenas; Monteverde Reserve; 2km SW Station, in leeward cloud forest. Elev. 1500-1550m. 10°18'N, 84°48’W. Epiphytic treelet on 1.5 m circum branch, of Ocotea tonduzii, 14 m above ground; and on trunk of Bielschmiedia pendula, 7 m above ground; plant to 4 m tall; petals white; stamens yellow; filaments & stigma red; sweetly fragrant; fruits pale green; pedicels all red or red basally, green distally.
