Description
Flowers white, in a crowded umbel. Height 12- 18 in. Fragrant. In the meadow. A dominant species in places,scattered in thousands all over the higher meadow. A caterpillar very like the larva of the English (and European) Papilio machaon feeds on this plant and will probably pupate soon. The butterfly is not specially rare.
