Along Piaroa trails in semideciduous forest.

Description
Solitary, smallish tree, 10 m x 18 cm DBH. Flowers strongly perfumed; petals light yellow, hood spongy and darker yellow. This is the second yellow-flowered species in this area; this species with smaller flowers.
