Atha, 2011 WISCONSIN, Richland Co., Gamer Lake, a shallow widening in channel through the Wisconsin River floodplain forest of Acer saccharinum, Betula nigra, Quercus bicolor. T 8 N; R 2 W; SE % sect. 4. 43oH’40”N,90°36’32”W. alt. 161 m. Solid colonies on unshaded edge; soil mucky but solid; plants only on land, not at all an aquatic, and the few plants now in a few inches of water are moribund. Flowering stems erect, to 1 m. tall, mostly somewhat shorter. Inflorescence red-pink, ±blunt at tip. Coll.: M. Nee 58167 5 Oct 2011 03157266
