watershed; Malakwalai-Tipu summit along SE escarpment. Elevation:
1400 m. 4°48rN 60° 18'W. Montane savanna with exposed sandstone and
sclerophyllous scrub on escarpment edge. Trailing shrub 0.2-0.3 m; leaves
light green below with white vestiture; infructescence reddish purple.
