The first oolleotion of this European plant in Amerioa was at
Tumwater, Thureton Co., TTashin^ton in 1845> later it was found near
Roy, Pierce Co., Washington. Both of these looAlities are within
twenty miles of Tenino where L. A. Hanna 2207 was oolleoted.
