Canyon bottom with a reasonably broad bed and low
benches of gravelly alluvium; adjacent slopes with
chaparral and coastal sage scrub elements.
Annual with aromatic herbage; locally abundant in
the shade of Prunus ilicifolia on die alluvial benches.
