Habitat: cienega, very salty area near perimeter.
Associated spp: Salix gooddingii, Tamarix ramosissima, Baccharis
emoryi, B. salicifolia, Schoenoplectus americanus, Lythrum
califomicum, Ambrosia Psilostachya, Sporobolus wrightii, Juncus
acrticus var. balticus, Eleocharis palustris, Aster pauciflorus.
Notes: Rhizomatous perennial 60-120 cm, flower heads fragrant,
locally common, not found elsewhere throughout SPRNCA
