Plants slightly succulent; corolla white to pale lavender, the
limb speckled.
In moist soil shaded by Ailanthust Quercus, Cercis, Asi-
mina, Hamamelis and Lindera, associated with Impatienst
Corydalis and Galium aparine, along a small brook near the
Potomac River, about 1 mile northwest of the railroad
bridge to Harpers Ferry (West Virginia), Washington
County, Maryland.
