Sandstone hillside with shallow soils and large bluffs of exposed rock. In some areas with wet sand and shallow pools or wet rocks.

Subshrub to 1m. Leaves coriaceous, glossy green above, grey green beneath. Corolla white. Berry black. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
