Habitat
Rich lichen-moss-tundra, just below the road; only one patch of this moss found, forming a tight turf between other mosses and small rocks; this saddle temporarily fills with water from snow-melt, submerging flowering specimens of Psychrophila leptosepala. With dwarf and mat vascular plants; also patches of Oreas martiana close by.
