Flora of the Paumonek Wetland, Long Island Alliaria petiolata (Bieb.) Cavara & Grande NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School. Flower white. Loosely scattered in humus rich soil. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Cary a tomentosa, Geranium maculatum, Prunus, Maianthrmum racemosum, Polygonatum pubescens, and Lindera benzoin. Matthew C.
