No. 7571, collected March 22, on the summit of the ridge
east of South Butte, Marysville Buttes, Sutter county, growing
on the north side in damp places- under overhanging rocks, the
plants green throughout and weak, sparingly pubescent, the
leaves of almost uniform size. The type is from Bodega Bay,
Sonoma county, where it is common, growing in almost pure
[sand.
