Cloud forest. Epiphyte, but the species often has
roots reaching to the ground. Height 10 feet, with
many spreading branches carrying many buds, but only
one open flower seen. FI. nearly 5>0 mm. in dia,
white, with right linear edge of petals rosy-priiason.
Flower wheel-shaped,, ^omewhat campanulate. Pedicel
and calyx dark green. Bark brown, nearly smooth. A
characteristic species of the fog zone*
