Stems ascending to erect, freely branched on larger plants.
Rich damp loam in sun on stream-bank with Duchesnea
indica, Polyganum aviculare, P. caespitosum var. longisetum,
Plantago Rugelii, Poa, Leersia and Echinochloa, Darby
Creek, 1 mile east northeast of Broomall, Delaware Coun-
ty, Pennsylvania.
