Juniperus, Condalia, Platyopuntia,
Diospyros, Yucca, Dasylirion, Agave
lecheguilla, Mimosa, Eysenhardtia, Aloysia,
etc.
Growing out of vertical gray north -facing
limestone rock, often under overhangs;
from a thick short caudex; flowers yellow;
common.
