Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Florida Prov. Gentle slope of Mairana valley, on side road off the Mairana to Postrervalle road, 4.6 km from turnoff from main Samaipata to Mairana highway.

Habitat
Most of the land below this point cleared for agricultural fields, above on the steeper slopes mostly still in dry forest. Grazed remnant woodland of Schinopsis haenkeana. Red clay soil.

Description
Shrublets 1-1.5 m tall. Inflorescences conspicuous for their small size in this genus; corolla rose-purple, with yellow eye, this fading to the same shade of rose-purple. Fruit dark purple.
