NEW YORK, SUFFOLK CO.: Huntington Station, in the Paumonek Wetland, west of Walt Whitman High School. Medium sized clump on a slight slope in humus rich woodsy soil. Solid green leaves; flowers white, male flowers above the female flowers on the slender raceme. Ocreae pubescent. Flowers visited by golden- brown ants. Growing in an Oak-Hickory Mesic Woodland with Rubus, Toxicodendron radicans, Lindera benzoin, Prunus, Acer platanoides, and Carya. Matthew C.
