Tricho sterna laxum Gray
Herbage very glandular and with strong turpentine odor, branches
widely spreading from near base; corolla rich blue, the tube ex*
serted and abruptly curved upward near throat, stamens long-ex-
serted, strongly arched. On serpentine in chaparral opening, alti-
tude 3800 feet. In V of junction between road to Eagle Peak
and road to Ball Rock, 10.3 miles northwest of Paskenta and 1.6
miles within eastern boundary of Mendocino National Forest,
Tehama County.
