Southern Santa Ana Mountains, just outside of the San Mateo
Canyon Wilderness Area of the Cleveland National Forest, flats
northeast of the upper end of Tenaja Canyon, south of
Wildomar Truck Trail (Tenaja Road, 7S01). T7S R5W NW
comer sec. 35. Elev. I9601. Disturbed grassland in mosaic with
stands of Adenostoma fasciculatum, Eriogonum fasciculatum, and
Quercus agrifolia.
Annual, strongly aromatic, flowers blue. Occasional on open,
overgrazed flats.
