Nez Perce County: Snake River Canyon, north of
Billy Creek, about 2.5 miles east of the Snake
River. Elevation 3800 feet. Aspect northwest.
Bunchgrass meadow steppe, with Pseudoroegneria
spicata, Festuca idahoensis, Koeleria macrantha,
Lupinus sericeus, Cerastium arvense, and Bromus
brizaeformis. Near ridge, on edge of Pseudotsuga
menziesii stand.
